Flyingchip Attended AUTO SHANGHAI 2025 with Automotive On-Device Vision Processing Chips and Combo Solutions
2025-4-25
From April 23 to May 2, 2025, AUTO SHANGHAI 2025 was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Flyingchip demonstrated M1 Series on-device vision processing chips and combo solutions at Booth 2BF022 in Hall 2.2H.
· M1 Series
Flyingchip M1 Series products, including M1 Camera ISP, M1Pro Camera SoC, and M1Max Camera SoC, feature image processing, low power consumption, ultra-small package size, functional safety, information security, etc., which help automotive cameras to achieve high-precision, low-latency vision processing and support the operation of lightweight AI applications. In addition, M1 Series products are compatible with automotive-grade CMOS image sensors, forming solutions for various automotive vision applications such as front/rear view cameras, in-cabin Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Occupancy Monitoring System (OMS), etc., which makes them ideal for the upgrade of intelligent driving vision systems.

· Rearview pedestrian detection combo solution
Flyingchip rearview pedestrian detection combo solution consists of Flyingchip’s M1 Pro chip and 2.5-MegaPixel (MP) automotive-grade CMOS image sensor. This solution can support the execution of pedestrian detection algorithms and the output of results, and help ADAS rear-view pedestrian detection system respond rapidly, thereby reducing the risk of accidents in blind spots and improving driving safety.

· OMS applications
Flyingchip’s combo solution for OMS consists of Flyingchip’s AI ISP M1 and 5 MP automotive-grade CMOS image sensor. In this solution, the real-time image data captured by CIS is optimized by M1’s built-in ISP algorithms and NPU’s acceleration, yielding a significant improvement in image quality. Hence, this combo solution provides clear and reliable image outputs for OMS cameras, further accelerating the processing of automotive OMS and infotainment systems.

· DMS applications
This combo solution for DMS, integrated with Flyingchip’s AI SoC chip M1Pro and 2MP automotive-grade CMOS image sensor, achieves a significant increase in dynamic range under global shutter mode via M1Pro’s built-in ISP and the image sensor. Meanwhile, M1Pro supports the execution of DMS recognition algorithms, which effectively improves the overall performance of the whole DMS system, allowing for the instant response of the intelligent driving system to promote driving safety.

· Streaming rear-view mirror combo solution
This combo solution consists of Flyingchip’s M1 chip and 3MP automotive-grade image CMOS sensor. It achieves excellent image processing even in low-light environments, which helps drivers to observe the situation behind the vehicle, thus improving driving safety.
